Hi,
My name is Lise Galipeau and I’m an SBI’er. If you don’t know what that means, you should read what you’re missing here.
At the moment I have 2 SBI websites:
Just Easy Recipes.com and Just Salad Recipes.com
Yep, both relating to cooking/recipes and yet I hate cooking! But I’m having a lot of fun going through my recipe box and moving the recipes online to my sites.
SBI is absolutely wonderful and I just love it! We learn so much on so many different levels.
It’s quite the education and Ken is right when he said somewhere, probably the Action Guide, we don’t need to go looking for the constant ‘new stuff’ coming out on the internet.
SiteSell does it for us.
But I know I’m not the only one who likes to have more control over the “Look and Feel” of their site and those of us who can, Upload our Own Html.
I’ve been helping many SBI’ers over the last couple of years with their site design and showing them how easy it is to use an html editor with the templates I create, even if they don’t know html or css.
Let’s take Linda as an example. Her site is over 200 pages and last year she asked me to design a new look for her site that she built with the block builder. She wanted a very clean and simple look with room for a categorized navbar and a 3rd column for her ebooks.

Doesn’t it look more structured and organized and easy for the visitors to find their way around?
With the new CSS 3 column template revealed, many SBI’ers are playing around with it and changing over their sites.
Many more would like to, but are either:
- afraid, because they don’t know CSS
- too busy to learn the template and the CSS from the instructions provided
- scared of the unknown that uploading your own html represents
- waiting for the block builder version of the 3 column
So I thought why not set up a site where free tutorials are available and where I can offer my services to help you spruce up your site and give it your own style.
Why not add a slide show on your page, or a scroller, or would you like round corners or a drop-down menu?
Would you like a wordpress blog installed to use as a blog or a photo gallery?
Have you found a great free template to use for your site? Even if it is a wordpress template, I can convert it to a regular site template for you.
Of course if you don’t have good content, it doesn’t matter what your site looks like. Since our SBI sites are getting the visitors no matter what, why not give them a nice visual experience as well?
Another SBI’er wrote to me last week with the best compliment: she said my site was sooo nice and didn’t look like any other SBI sites!
Don’t hesitate to ask questions in “Comments” or using the contact form.
Good Luck….

Just like to say, Lise, that I’ve had so many, many people compliment me on my site since you redid its L&F – both SBI’ers and non-SBI’ers. A big thank you!
Thank you so much Linda, so glad you like it…I do too
Thanks Lise for helping me sort out my html code. My head was spinning but you resolved my problems quickly and with uncanny ease. You really know your stuff and I am lucky I was introduced to you!
Thank you so much Monday and I’m glad I could help.
I’ll be here if you need me again.
Lise, Thank you for making my transition to a new look & feel so much fun! Your patience and expertise helped tremendously! I had to “see” examples and you took the time to go through that with me without pressure or complaint.
I not only ended up with a site that I like very much, but new learning so that I can make changes and continue to grow. I am VERY happy with my site and have been receiving lots of feedback — all of which has been very positive. Thanks again!!
Thank you so much Don, it was a real pleasure working with you…and you did learn so fast!
